Where did the inspiration come from for Underwater World?
The Underwater environment, much like our environment above water, is in need of urgent help and assistance due to the number of man-made items, chemicals and waste that go into our oceans.
Our artist Samantha who designed the artwork, very much wanted to convey the importance of looking after the world's oceans and how much life lives in and relies on them.
It’s certainly a mesmerising image! What makes the Underwater World stand out from the other jigsaws in the collection?
The wonderful world of the ocean is so awe inspiring and immersive. With over 80% of the planets sea beds yet to be explored, who knows what amazing and unique sea creatures are yet to be discovered.
We wanted to capture this in the imagery and create a truly immersive puzzling experience. The mysterious yet endearing colour palette used really does help stimulate the imagination into what lies beneath.
Why did you choose Gibsons to collaborate with?
We are absolutely delighted to be working with Gibsons on our jigsaw puzzle collection. We very much see a lot of shared values when it comes to design, customer service and innovation of products you specialise in. When we look for new partnerships, it’s all about finding the best in class, and we truly believe we found that in Gibsons.
What do you do to help tackle sustainability?
Here at The Art File, we take sustainability and the environment very seriously, and always strive to improve in these field. All our products are 100% recyclable, including the packaging. We will always strive to be more sustainable, as Gibsons do, and every other business should be doing this as well.
